Greeting to all members of Club ITR
just some random guy from melbourne, new to the honda family as i have recently purchased a EK hatch CXi
being 30+ years old, this is actually my first manual car
a good friend of mine is teaching me how to work with the clutch atm
having much fun stalling and all but i will work it out, eventually
haha
always loved civic since childhood, EG hatches to be exact
finally saved up some money to get one, but due to it's age
and i haven't actually seen one that catches my attention
i ended up buying the EK yesterday, which catch my eyes for some reason when i saw the ad
it's really weird how i fall in love with the car the sec i sees it parked on the side of that street
paint is faded as all red paints do for its age, bits of dings and dongs but nothing major
to me she is like an beautiful lady who's been in a bit of rough life
hopefully i will do what i can to make her beautiful again
current plans are:
fix up the dings and dongs on the body
changing the climate control and cluster lighting
which i have got a climate control from wrecker to test different colours
(getting it out took me so long... all those panels and screws that had to come off
)
i love playing around with interior lighting
my current CE lancer is full red including buttons and gear indicator on cluster
and maybe do a break disc/caliper upgrade for the front
with that said, soon i will start asking some newbie question
so i can learn more about my car, please bear with me when that happens
