Nickolas, I sure hope that LateX apologises for his lack of respect and disregard to your introduction.
He's completely retarded and doesn't have any common courtesy to spend a minute to properly read your introduction. However, I can appreciate the effort you put into constructing the post and I can gladly say, I completely agree with your views on the beauty that is the DC5.
Whats your views on the Honda Access lip kit that's available for the Luxury models?

I'm not saying DC5 Luxury's are a girls car. I'm saying that particular DC5 is well known to belong to a girl, especially within the ClubITR community / Honda online community.
Glad someones doing something about it, before it turns into OzHonda.

I'm not sure where LiteX exhibited disrespect to the OP. Firstly it wasn't implied or stated that the black DC5 pictured in the first post didn't belong to the thread starter, and LiteX could be forgiven for assuming that was the case if he didn't read the post carefully. LiteX also welcomed the original poster, unlike you who posted solely to abuse another forum member simply because he is not e-stalking everyone on the forum enough to know the owner of the black DC5.
Let me draw your attention to the following:
It seems conceited to assume you have enough knowledge of all things CITR related to give you the authority to abuse other posters for simple mistakes, given that the forum existed for many years before you arrived here. One more post like your previous ones in this thread earns a holiday from the forum.

You that delightful experience when you shoot off to the restroom after ordering your meal in a restaurant, to be greeted on your way back by a hot steaming plate of food waiting for you on your table?
That's precisely the experience I had this morning, after being kicked out of my apartment due to Auction complications and living without internet for a few days, but the wait has been worth it to return to this very lively group of responses to my introduction thread. Positive, Negative, all is welcome guys... it offers an entertaining read for us all and I'm a newbie so I welcome all the lovely members protecting me from all sides. I feel so pampered!
Anyway, #thisisnotozhonda as felixR so eloquently stated... so let's talk business.
I'll work my way up, starting with the "Honda Access Lip or A-spec Kit" in response to BUTTER. I find them to be a bit hit or miss... sometimes they pull them off... sometimes they go a bit over the top for me. I guess that's why I'm in search of the more humble DC Luxury over the Type-S... but here's an example of the Honda Access Lip I adore, and I hope you'll agree with me BUTTER.
PLAYTHING - thank you kindly for not castrating me for using images of your ex- which you have subsequently donated to your mum. I was just trying to illustrate the kind of car which has captured my heart and I thank you for allowing me to do so with such a stylish example!
But KIN KIN KIN - you're the man whose peaked my interest in this forum.
I think my infatuation spawns from the sheer rarity of these DC Luxuries in VICTORIA, the sleek styling of the vehicle, and the fact that I can redline it without incurring another dozen speeding fines. It took me a while to realise it, but I would prefer to rev the shit out of a weaker car, than keep a Type-S for example below the redline out of fear of getting speeding fines... just my personal choice.
I gather from your Yellow Plates that the car is based in NSW's?
10-11K is precisely my budget, but in the middle of the apartment rigmarole, I missed on what could have been a great opportunity or a huge mistake. A gentleman listed his 2005 DC Luxury on eBay (85,000km) which sold for $10,600. He then stated that the buyer never contacted him and re-listed it on gumtree for $8600. The ad didn't last long. Doing a background check on the car, it was registered under his friend's company's name and he told me it was just a matter of transferring it back into his own name them passing it onto me.

What are your opinions guys?... Does that all sound a little dodgy to you? I mean I didn't even have a chance to test drive it due to being in VIC and the car being in NSW.
Anyway, I appreciate everyones warm welcome to the forum... thank you guys.
Nickolas

my opinion is the type s is more slightly expensive than the luxury. The engine/gearbox, and resale value is well worth it!Last edited by plAythiNG; 08-03-14, 01:25 PM.

If your budget is around 11k I'd say it's worth saving up a bit more for a Type S as they're an awesome package. But each to their own.
Welcome to the forum and good luck with your search.

You won't be notified but you'll see it straight away when it becomes available to you.
As for the type s or luxury topic. I think it's up to you in the end. Just ask yourself is that extra 5-10k worth it to you in the end? Do you really need the extra performance or are you just after the aesthetic looks of the facelift dc5? If it was just for looks and just daily reliable use, then there is nothing wrong with getting a DC5 Luxury. I would be all for it, I personally would've gotten one myself if I weren't also into the performance side of the DC5. So I got best of both worlds by facelifting a DC5R .
All the best to you, I hope you enjoy your stay here and learn a great deal! I'm sure this forum will be a great tool for you on your journey.Into Gundam and Anime?! Check out my business at www.facebook.com/officialgundamuniverse

First of all I would like to apologize for not properly reading your thread Nickolas which was embarrassing of me haha.
As eLtrix have said, if you are just after looks then the DC5 Luxury is not a bad choice. My mate purely bought a facelifted DC5 for looks (auto) and cared nothing about performance. But judging from what you said about redlining the car, you definitely should go for a type S or type R for a few thousand extra. If you are going to redline your car on normal streets, I'm pretty sure you will go passed the speed limit anyway (correct me if I'm wrong).
