    Hello from Tamworth

    Hey guys,
I have been a member of the forum for a couple of months now, never really understood how to work it but I decided I will give it a go and see what I can do on here. I am from Tamworth (North of Sydney) and have attended a couple of Club ITR events already such as the mid-year drive and the anual BBQ. Now that that's done I will talk a little bit about cars as that's what we are here for essentially.

So I started my driving life with a Lancer coupe, with epic chrome rims probably the most stereotypical p plate car around. Anyway, I knew I wanted to go up from there as, you know, we all start somewhere. So about a year and a half later I got the money together to buy my very first Honda, I was so excited, I bough a '99 Silverstone S2000, and I loved it to bits, a little bit too literally apparently as after a day short of a month I found out how snappy they can be first hand and met a tree after getting on it too early. Sadly, the car is a statutory write off. The main thing was that nobody was hurt; very very fortunately I happened to have a passenger at the time too, he and I both walked away amazingly unharmed. Although that really did shake me up about driving the car, it really taught me to respect the car and learn roads and the importance of driver awareness of the surrounds (wet patches etc) so I see it as a lesson learnt the hard way but learnt none the less.

After that incident i was lucky enough to have a good friend lend me a car for about a month until I got sorted again for a car. I did opt for another one, I then moved on and purchased a White S2000. This one is in overall better order than the first car so I was rather happy about that. I kinda had a better idea of what I was looking at/for when purchasing this vehicle so I think I made a better choice and that brings us to today.

I would upload some photos of my story but I don't really know how, so if someone could give me a bit of advice for future reference that would be great, thanks!

    Welcome Riley

You got those pics worked out by the looks.

Sad day that silver s2k met its end, however the silver lining is that white car you have now!
