Guy on another forum told me i should join here, had a good read of the tech forums and figured i'd say hello.
I'm from Perth and just picked up an EG with DC2R running gear - will post up a thread about it in the members ride section soon....
My car history is pretty wide and varied.
Pulsar SSS, of both cammed SR20de n15 and an n14 with sr20ve conversion (nissans version of VTEC)
Bora v6 with coilovers, brembos, cams etc
R32 skyline
Currently i have this as my daily (now mostly retired from track work due to the honda coming onboard)
TS Astra turbo
Its had a lot of work done
VXR turbo, intake, exhaust, fuel pump, intake manifold, ecu flash, FMIC, etc
wilwood 6pot brakes, quaife LSD etc
17" wheels with federal RSR's
does a sub 60s lap around wanneroo short track, so goes ok for what it is.
In the end i didnt want to "ruin" the cars good street manners by modding it further for track work, and it has so much torque its pretty easy to drive.
I wanted something a bit more fun and with track ready performance, hence the EG
Will post up the EG thread shortly so you can have a squiz!
