Hello everyone,
My name is Phorla. i am the proud owner of a Red DC5R

i've been on here for quite awhile, and thought it was time to introduce myself to the community.

Car has been reasonably stock for the time i've had it (3 yrs), and only started my modifications late November 2011.

The main difference from other Type Rs is that it Had Harrop brakes on it which i only found the part number on the front brake pads the other day.

It was used in the Celebrity Grand prix race a few yrs back im pretty sure.

Buddy Club N+ Coilovers
Ultra Racing: Front + rear upper, front + rear lower, b-pillar, & c-pillar brace
Custom Short Ram

Shift Light

I think your car was used as a pace car at one of the Indy races a while ago. Don't think it was used as a celebrity race car for a Grand Prix.

yeah it was called 'young guns',10 dc5r's going round the gold coast indy track, driven buy up and coming race drivers, marcos ambrose was one of them i believe, i was there and remember the cars going round,and think it must have been either 2001,2002??
it was back in the day when honda was still in champ car and was the major sponsor of the indy weekend

cos when i was told about the young guns race, i automatically thought albert park which got me confused as i dont think it was used before. lol :s

wicked if you could would love to of seen what it looked like. i would assume it would have had a cage too
