I got a 1:14.4.... i know i can shave that to about a high 1:13...

How far is this track from sydney and melbourne. I might join you guyz one day. Keen to try other tracks round aus. My DC5R has alot of suspension mods so a track with lots of corners suit my mods.

You'll love wakefield then buddy! Corners galore. It closest to canberra rather than anywhere else.

from syd its about 1hr 30min to an 2 hrs from syd.
The track is quite rough and bumpy. So if you come with high spring rates, be prepared for a lot of skipping and jumps.

i had a great day with some of my mates that seen the track for the first time. managed a PB better than which what i was aiming for.

t- bagger....i would be very happy with your times with the ridiclous tyres u had on mate. ahaha

Tires are fine!. I got at least 4 more days left out of them.. They were semi's.. but slowly turning to slicks... should be more sticky now.

Great day guys....

Managed to pulled some decent times in my EG civic... at the end of the day we ended up with 1:12.660...was pretty satisfied...

hopefull next track day we can break into the 1:11 time bracket...

ps: i got the video of those two clowns swapping drivers in the middle of the track... thats a first

Mods are:

ITR motor - stock internal, basic bolts-on (long-ram intake and dynodaves headers) tuned with hondata s200 127.3 kw ATW

Sussy + Brakes
Whiteline rear sway bar + tie
ITR front sway bar
Couple of strut bars (front and rear)
Tein Flew Coilovers
Stock Si brakes - EBC Green pads with slotted rotors for the front
Type R MC and booster

Tyres and Rims
13'icnh Rims
Second hand Advan 048R
Wheel alignment

thats it... most important thing i reckon was practice... i was hitting 1:14 in the morning, then 1:13 midday, then finally hitting 1:12 at the end of the day
