I wouldn't. The adrenaline combined with a hard day of track work can leave you quite ruined and dehydrated. I'd say swap shifts or sit this one out. It ain't worth writing yourself off on the way home just to get a few laps in. There will always be more track days.

If it arrives in time I might roll down in the J's T5 Transporter. No track work Sabine stylez though.

Will it be capped at 55 cars Narada?

Looking at last monday trackday on natsoft there were 64 cars listed. So could this be a repeat like tampered motorsport day?

lol i heard about an 80 or so car event at winton? to be honest, that place can handle up to 80 cars in my opinion though...

hahaha well we have accidentally had nearly 70 cars once before...

if you look over the past trackdays we have had, nearly all of them end up having around 63/64, so that is our max capacity

we cap it at 55 for general bookings, and then we have CC staff and special guests.

So yes, the day will be capped to our capabilities and the day will be managed just as well as they have been in the past =)

what about traffic nads! i've noticed that's one thing that gets complained about all the time when there are more cars than the proposed cap?

i think i will be causing traffic if i happen to be in a fast group thou

                          Wakefield isnt a big circuit...

Group D will be group D... nobody complained as they were all getting used to it and following other cars is sometimes helpful for confidence. pretty much all of them had a ball and thought the traffic was fine!

On that day, we also had so many first timers that some had to even start in Group C, but group A and B werent so bad

you guys let me know - how good/bad was the traffic on the day anyway? Labour day was just as busy as our winter trackday, as well as anzac day earlier this year

and you will probably also notice that whenever there is a lot of traffic, that the other half of the track is usually empty haha

but anyway, if you want to go to the track and get no traffic, then you can go to a super sprint or try your luck with an open day in the middle of the week. Our trackdays do have more cars than those events, and we manage that well in my opinion, but the main point for our days is to get the community together and get to know each other really.

we always end up having fun right?

As for how many cars per catagory, usually its split evenly, so between 15-16 per group. Sometimes group A will have less cars and group D a couple more, just for ease of traffic (a car in the wrong group will cause more traffic than an extra car in the right group)

it is due to people haveing such WIDE expectation of trackdays that creates the divergence in experience...

i am going for old times sake, i started supersprinting after attending several CC's as i wanted more than Circuit Club could give me... (pure competition!!!)

if you are whinging about "track time" at a Circuit Club event, maybe re-consider the things that you are expecting to get out of a such a popular/well run/professional/highly sort-after event...

and the group D syndrome - well, of course it will be packed if you all line up at the same time! n00bs keen as to race!!

see group A go out: a few, then a few more, then a few come off, then a few more go on...

but group D - lined up like a ice-cream van!
