Mr.R pm'ed a couple of us with a list of questions in regards to attending this track day and I thought it'd be a good opportunity for those of you who might be wondering the same questions:

Whats things do I need? gloves? Helmet? garments? where and how much?

You only need what Adam has specified, which is on the first page of this thread. Everything else is up to you.

YOU WILL NEED:
Long sleeve and long pants of non flammable materials i.e. No Nylon
AASA license which can be bought on the day for $50 (these last for 12 months) or CAMS L2S
Closed footwear
Helmet that complies to Australian Standards (has ASA or Snell Sticker)
Car needs to be in a good condition, no oil leaks, no loose items in the car and battery secure.
Good condition tyres
Working seatbelt (give it a pull and make sure it locks)
All people wishing to attend need to make payment to the specified bank account. When you send your email with your details you will be sent an entry form as well as payment details. You will need to email the following details

Gloves and garments (I assume race suit) are optional and are not required. Some people like using them, some people don't care. It really is up to you.

Also, when you go to track do you guys overhaul your cars? like fully service it.. and when you track it has anything ever gone badly wrong???

Most of us prefer to keep our cars in tip-top condition, so if we know that a track day is coming up and our fluids (engine + brake mainly) are looking or feeling a bit sorrowful, then we'll tend to change them before the event. Its always best to be safe than sorry!

Also my fronts are getting bold, got adrenalins at home, prolly change those if i track too.. and remove my sub and 2 amps.. ?

It would be advisable to run on tyres that have thread on them. I don't know how far/fast you'll get or how much enjoyment you'll have if your car is sliding all over the place. Plus that will only increase your changes of slamming it into a wall. As for your sub and 2 amps; you can run these on the track if their properly secured. Nothing wrong with doing that.

Also just a question, should the spare tyre be taken out? (this includes the tools that are usually in the same area as it)

yap....everything should be out of the car unless they are properly secured.....some ppl even clear their glove box.....
