Rotors will still work even if they are beyond machining.

Given all the time in the world, I don't think you'd still be ready. I guess we've all come to expect this anyways

I cant really give an opinion as i have never been on track

But i think you can take any car to the track, as long as you service it before hand and drive in good spirit, you will have fun whether you have a powerful car or not.

In fact i had the most fun on the track in a Nissan Micra, which actually recorded a better time than a 350z
