Hi All,
Thanks for the support..
Round 5 of the NSW Supersprints took place on the 20th of July at Wakefield Park after a very long break. This break gave us the further opportunity to review our setup from the earlier Supersprints rounds.

Spouting the Toda quads, the MFactory Superprint Civic's Engine was a work of art (Forgive the airbox and headers for now). Unfortunately, as participants know, prepping a car for an event is never complete. Trying to understand the potential of the engine, we ran a stock ITR headers and an SRI, not ideal for the setup, but away we went anyway.

When the day opened, it was extremely cold and slippery - I had to pick my way around the track very gingerly to avoid my usual opening lap spin outs, but as the day went by, it turned out to be a nice cool day for racing. Having initially set the suspension alignment at the beginning of the year and only playing with damper settings thereafter, we managed to pull a string of Sub 1:10s @ Wakefield Park during each run - I was very happy to have been pretty consistent instead of doing one lap wonders.
I had a couple of drama's during the runs as well including one where I was abruptly cut off going into turn 1 almost resulting in a collision, but was fortunate to avoid it. No one's fault really, just the usual track incident.
At the end of the day, we came away with a class win and breaking the previous class record by more than 1.5 seconds.
A testament to the build and tune abilities of Adrian, saw us not only racing and winning on the tune but also achieving a less than 1/2 a tank of fuel to get to Wakefield park (238km) cruising at 100km/h. We could even go out onto the track and did 3 sessions before deciding it was better to refuel as a precaution.
And always happy to share - a couple of 1:09 laps in the Civic - Turn the volume up!

and as usual, thanks to Toda Racing Australia and MFactory for the incredible support and know how.
