What: Car Cruise (weather permitting)
Where: G.O.R (Great Ocean Road - for all the newbs )
Meet at Westgate Fwy Shell/KFC (Geelong Bound) - Cruise to Lorne through Winchelsea - Lorne for Lunch (possible bbq or good ol Fish n Chips)/photos/waterfall - Back along GOR scenic road - Home
When: Saturday 5th July
8am departure from meetup point for expected return by 3pm.
Why: Meet n Greet, new friendships as well as share ideas and knowledge and VTEC passion!

Though it ain't "official" Club ITR cruise, it'd be good for my involvement and gaining points of "worthiness" to eventually being able to organise "official" Club ITR cruises in the future

your ability to organise any cruise is dependent on your ability to post in ClubITR, which i personally granted to you.

i allowed you to post this thread, and now you seem to be making light of our genuine concern that you are a newbie and the first thing you want to do is start organising a cruise...

please understand that this is highly abnormal, and hence why your thread has attracted our attention...

Don't get discouraged Johnny. Tinkerbell and hebe are probably just concerned that you are going to lead us astray, considering that you have not been on the forum long and havent made a huge contribution yet. Just do your best to make the cruise a success and I am sure they will warm to you. If you need a hand with anything let me know .

Might want to update the first post with a few more details, particularly regarding what sort of behaviour is going to be acceptable and unacceptable on the cruise. We don't want any silly business reflecting badly on the club, or anyone getting into trouble.

the last time we were ment to go out for a drink at the local pub.. i saw a bottle shop next door.. and suggested .. with the money we would be spending at the pub we could get an entire slab of some good stuff..

he didn't look so keen on the idea at the time =P.. but folded at the realization of more alcohol..

Yup. Kewl...Now I totally understand what you're saying...

I'm just not really good at technical know-how, quite clueless actually when it comes to DIY, parts, servicing etc...

Just thought I could do something more constructive to verify my active involvement in the club and organise a practical hands on cruise.
