Once again, we are happy to announce that The Toda Australia / MFactory Honda Civic takes the Championship Class Win and Championship Class Record at Round 3 of the NSW CAMS Supersprint Championships at Eastern Creek with a PB of 1:51.84
With minimal changes since the previous round, a couple of new additions including bracings from Ultra Racing to help with chassis strengthening and some decals, which we all know is worth 10kw right across the rev range.
Previous issue with the power steering saw me dumping the power steering gear altogether.
I was worried as we went into the weekend as rain had been forecasted for it, and it poured the day before at my place, however, my fears were unfounded as the day turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, albeit, a little chilly. As with all the superpsrint events, there was a large variety of cars, from Formula 1 types, open wheelers to modern japanese and European
cars (I saw a fully decked out black GTR somewhere but never saw it run!).
If anyone is interested in seeing the wide variety of cars, you can go here:

The start of the first run is always a funny - there's that sense of being unsure and then there's also that rush of adrenalin. I always seem to spin out on sighting laps from some over exuberance. However, this time round, I have an excuse. Someone had dumped oil all over the track.
The 2nd run of the day got better as I got used to the track again after such a long break. Got into a little tussle with an Rx7, a Gemini and a Ford Mustang! Tangles like this don't help with the times but it does make for interesting vids.
The 4th run actually had me tangling with the Porsche 993 again, and once again, unfortunately, the Vid did not turn out right and hence I have no footage. :-(
The day overall was pretty exciting and included a car catching fire at the beginning of the main straight. We only got 4 runs for the day due to the number of incidences and delays and so were unfortunate not to be able to test some changes. I'm going to stop now as my arms are tired from the lack of Power Steering. Enjoy the Vid.
