a. new timing belt
b. new tensioner
c. new water pump (if you want to replace it)

supernatural - do you have:

a. gearbox oil (over 2.3 litres)
b. new gearbox washers (if you wnat to replace them)

andrew84tran - do you want your pads replaced? do you have:

a. new brake pads
b. new brake fluid (around 750mL)

Big thanks goes to tinkerbell for organisation, 11th hour change of venue and all his help today.

We managed to get the water pump, tensioner, and timing belt replaced in just a few hours. He even wanted to go the full 9 yards with suspension mounts etc, it just wouldn't have come together as well as it did without his advice and guidance along the way

Not to mention he offered me all the tools and bits'n pieces that I didn't have the foresight to bring, rags, funnel, sealant the list was endless. I can't express my thanks enough.

Good luck with your engine work and if you need a hand I'm there.

Oh, and that special spanner did wonders for those hard to reach places. I've definately got to get me one of those for John's timing belt install.

ha ha - i think steve was a little bit lucky but he sure learnt alot... and did good wrenching! i got a pretty cool picture of him beign a mechanic - you want me to post it up?
