Hey man, I was gonna jump to the S2k after my lude. I jsut couldnt find one in good enough condition.

Common probs with the S2K:

Clutch buzz
Gearbox vibrations
Rear Axle vibrations
Soft tops have holes in them
Roof clips seem to become loose overtime and especailly if the owner abused them.
Seats begin to fade, and leather sets hard on them
Driver side seat bolster is almost always squashed in 2nd hand examples.


Try and find a 03+ S2K. They had the egarbox revised along side with a softer clutch - eliminating clutch buzz.

Also the 03+ get a propper glass window for the back of the soft top, which emans it will never be foggy like the pre 03 models.

Apart form the above its an awesome car.

I know the previous owner of that car and it has JR extractor not mugen

Btw guys I will miss this cruise as the car will not be ready anytime soon.
