    [Vic] On The Run Motorsports Winton Track Day - June 11

    ON THE RUN MOTORSPORTS
    WINTON TRACK DAY
    [Practise] [Time Trials] [Sprints]


    Date: Monday June 11th 2007

    Venue: Winton Motor Raceway 3Km Full Course
    2 hours from Melbourne City down Hume Freeway

    Time:
    Gates open at 7:30am
    Scrutineering 8-9am
    Drivers Briefing at 9am
    Track Time After 9am

    Accomidation:
    Accomidation will be proveded by OTR at a Benalla Motel park.
    Please ring OTR (98993260) to book your stay (limited places).
    Price will be $25 per person on Sunday 10th June.

    Price:
    $150 28-May-2007 up until track day for Drivers/Entrants
    Price includes Timing Device
    $50 AASA license can be bought on the day
    $25 accomidation at a Benalla Hotel for Sunday Night
    Prices to be paid in at On The Run Motorsports
    772 Station Street, Box Hill 3128
    Spactators Free

    License and Requirements:     AASA or CAMS (AASA license can be bought on day for $50)
    * Drivers must hold a current licence from either AASA club racing licence or higher or a CAMS 2SE or higher licence
    * Drivers/Passangers must wear a helmet that complies (Sticker located on helmet) with AS 1698 or better
    * Drivers/Passangers must wear Non-flammable (i.e. cotton or wool, just not synthetic) clothing that covers ankles to wrist to throat and suitable footwear (No thongs etc)
    * Cars will be scrutineered prior to entering the track
    * Cars must not have loose items in the car
    * Cars spare tyre and jack must be removed
    * Cars must not have bold tyres or expired rubber
    * Cars indicators and windscreen wipers must work
    * We encourage people to have a Fire Extinguisher but it is not compulsary item for this event.

    Event Details:
    -Spectators free the more the better please come and support our track day.
    -There will be a bbq on the day.
    -Food can also be bought at near by Benalla 10mins from Winton Raceway
    -Petrol stations are situated in Benalla (Shell, BP are the most popular offering Shell V-Power and BP Ultimate 98octane fuels.
    -Groups will be announced at the Event.
    -Passanger will be aloud with drivers during morning practise session.

    Such a high number of cars but I guess this is reflected by the price.

      70 cars inst that bad, most events that i have been to the limit has been capped at 80 entries and still got an around 4-5 sessions. Suppose it works out how efficient the day is run and how many incideints there are.

      Would love to make it to this but going to NZ the week after.......

          Im helping them with track day. Remember to pay for your place at box Hill asap to confirm your place.

          This track day will be more organised then most others and expect some surprises.

                              Are there going to be any passenger sessions?

                              Am I correct in assuming that the groups are going to be split up according to lap times?
                              Honda DC2R Integra

                              If I change the nut behind the wheel then my sloppy lines improve and I can get some consistency to sort out my iffy handling, my worrying lack of braking ability goes away, after that I can start fretting about my suspicious lack of straight line grunt.
