Hey guys, I'm the admin of japcar enthusiasts. The meet is looking like its going to be at northland shopping centre. Strict measures will be taken to assure there is no hooning. A tripod will be placed at every entrance getting down everyone's rego and their faces. The meet looks like its going to be really big, we're going to get in touch with authorities and make sure people don't get defected. There was a meet there yesterday (Sunday) which I promoted. Cars were dosing a lot had illegal mods and all, though the police did not do anything! They said to the event organisers that no one is going to get defected for no reason. They stood by their word. The pics came up only when someone started to do a burnout. If at our meet everyone behaves themselves and all goes well, us enthusiasts will have a better reputation. It will definitely be on Sunday the 29th and I will update you guys after I get in contact with the owners of northland shopping centre and authorities. Any other questions inbox us on our Facebook page. Www.facebook./JapcarEnthusiasts

this sounds promising, solid idea with the tripods at the entrance to capture rego. By far the most annoying thing is when a a guy (usually in a holden) ruins it for everyone and for future events. I can't even count how many times I've heard this happen. Experienced it first hand about 4 times too.

Yeah, I'm sick of all of these events ending early! The event page has over 700 people attending! And around 150 maybe! A lot of nice cars seem to be coming from all over Australia, since its big we want to make sure it's organised... If a car doesn't have a rego sticker were not letting them in, or will keep a close eye out for them.. Last event I went to a guy had fake plates and no reg sticker and ruined the event.. Hopefully our event will be successful and go as planned. When police are notified they don't seek cars to defect. That meet I went to had police going in and out, some even can and looked at the cars.. They knew what to expect.. Even after the burnout they didn't bother chasing anyone, they just had a casual conversation about the meet with whoever stayed back.. Hopefully police at this event will be the same! And hopefully everyone will have a blast, I mean I really enjoy the scenery of all these cars and its a shame when one single idiot ruins it for everyone.. Anyways hope to see you guys there =]

Sounds good, I'd be keen on coming if I can make it after work. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be like the Northland meet, it was good until it turned into a 'loudest exhaust contest' and that Holden ripped a burnout...
