      Howdy,

Unfortunately I can't make it to The Creek on Thursday - would love to. I had a supersprint there on Saturday and managed to get down to 1:45.5 on semi-slick road tyres. This is my PB and was very happy. I have a 16Mb video of my second run. This was a 1:46 on the 3rd lap.

The K20a was really transformed my car. The best I could do at Eastern Creek with the original Lotus/Rover engine was 1:52. with the same shocks and similar tyres. That's 7seconds quciker with Honda power!!!

Damn that is awesome, how much power does the K20A have over the stock motor on paper?

Re: Lotus at EC: Super smooth driving, great vid! Thanks for sharing. Perfect instructional vid for all those going to this EC CC day. Watch, study and learn!

In the MX-5, turn 1 I don't brake at all on the straight, just rev match into 3rd and floor it all the way through there. The car going through there in 4th feels so unsettled but your lotus going through there in 4th (in fact your car everywhere) looks so damn glued to the ground. No oversteer at turn2, or the hairpin at all. Awesome stuff. Makes my blood curdle watching and hearing that!!!

                  Justin,

That was 6th through turn 1. Was doing 230km/h which is why I had to brake!

PS: I just read my initial post, meant from 5th the 4th in the MX. In that video I posted earlier Dean Canto doesn't shift into 5th and stays in 4th in my MX. Still, we're not doing anywhere near 230km/hr and even in my GT-R when it was stock I was only hitting 220km/hr at the end of the straight!!!

                            hey dude,

atm ive got 2 people that want to use the mounts already, and i;ve only got 2 mounts. do those cameras that you've posted have any other way of mounting it? such as a 3/8" thread for the tripod screw? my suction mounts will only mount a camera in that way, unless i use a clamp with it... which i might have to do because i dont know if i have a camera head for the 2nd mount as i will be using the ball head with my monopod... i guess we'll see on the day though. i havnt even checked if i have all the stuff yet

oh ok.. well these small cameras have a screw thread thingy in them so it screws onto mounts.. im not sure what thread it is but im guessing that its the normal camera mount size.

i was hoping maybe we could meet up some time tomorrow to give it a test run. The camera lens is a wide angle so the picture you will get is more like best motoring rather than your average hand held =D im more than happy to record the laps of those people who want to use the mounts on the day too what do you think?
