it would make air flow better possibly to some extent, but it looks good like the headers on an alfa etc. i know a lot of people also use Toda i'm not sure how they come from factory?

The AEM CAI has a washer bottle relocation kit to the other side, but I don't know how this relates to his K&N setup.
