Recommend me a track work camera setup !

hullo. after a cheapish video camera for track work recording.

Must be SSD IE memory card
Must be small
must have the universal screw connection for mounting

Doesnt have to be super high quality , just record video and optional sound on a mem card for easy transfer toa computer and beyond.

Off memory.....HDD camera's dont work on the track since its bumpy...u get
errors writing to disk...

dont know about memory cards......

my friends usually use minidv's.....

they are alright, although can be a pain in the ass turning it on if u have a harness and a race seat and all (lol, takes a fair bit of time getting yourself ready to head on the track - so its best to have a mate switch it on for you :P)

Comes with the camera, a selections of mounts (including a window suction mount) and records on a SD card, only let down it only takes 2 AAA battery's and only last a good 60min...

ive been looking at this too... currently ive got a bodgy ripped up camera tripod top over my cpillar bar and a DVC... not good for your specs Ben, but it works well... however im looking at moving to an X bar, and as such looking at new options... if you have a DVC, you can get suction cup mounts from ebay for about $50... once again, doesnt meet your prerequisite for small size and the cost (if you dont have a DVC)
