I just tried a set of these instead of my RE55S for Auto-X and they were brilliant!
Grip well from cold, consistent through every run even at low tread depth.
With the RE55S I was always constantly worried that my rears haven't heated up enough, but with the R888 I cut almost 1 sec just from confidence alone!

I haven't tried them for track abuse yet, but from what I've heard, they overheat more quickly than the RE55S? I ran 30psi front and 32psi rear COLD.
