Mallala track day best lap video

Nothing too exciting.. but here is my best lap from the John Bowe Instructor track day I did at Mallala on the 29th Oct.

    I managed a 1'28.2

mods were Ferodo DS2500 pads (f&r) and new RE55S on stock wheels. Apart form this the car is stock (except for Mugen baffled sump)

I find the pads a bit better than stock in terms of stopping power... but i cant confidently say they are perfect because i do get some very slight fade after a few HOT laps. In the first few sessions they will be fine for 3-4 hot laps. Then they fade slightly after 3 hot laps... then after 2 hot laps..

But i don't know if its the pads or more likely the fluid/lines which are stock Honda!

oh and of course... they dust heaps, even in street driving.

if its a slightly spongy feel but still work effectively, its likely the lines.
are you getting ABS activation at all when braking? if you aren't at all, then you are braking too early and not hard enough, therefore not really using the brakes to their full ability. sorry 2b cheeky.
i will check out the vid @ home (no youtube @ work dangnamit).

i wont get offended szy! i want any comments/advice.. i know i am not fast and i want to get better! I'm not some punk kid that cant take criticism.

my braking technique isnt good as i am used to leaving my heel planted when pressing on the pedals so on the track i do this too.. (so use the muscle in foot rather than leg to press the brake pedal). So i am pretty sure i could be hammering the brake a lot harder if i used my whole leg to press the pedal...

i remember the instructor basically starts braking 10m before the corner on corner 3 for example... just floor it then slam the brakes just before the corner and trail brake through it..
