How much oil do you catch on a track day?

How much oil do you catch in your catch can on a track day, if any?

Just curious... it is normal to catch oil on a well compressioned engine?

I didn't catch any oil. DC2R, using Castrol Edge 10w-40, no oil cooler.

i still don't understand who started the "catch-can goes after the PCV valve" sillyness...

how much oil does it catch?

I hooked it to the PCV valve.

Caught about 20% in the cusco catch can worth of oil.

This was after 30-40 odd laps at wakefield.

the catch can goes between the OEM tank and the PCV valve,

the PCV valve should be between the manifold and the catch can...

otherwise the manifold can draw oil from teh catch can un restricted.

interesting.. ill look more into that one..

I was under the impression that the oil remains on the bottom of the can.. the in and out valves are positioned at the top of the can..
but i can see its flaws when you toss and turn through the corners and the oil would fly everywhere... I guess having it there is better than not having it as it would have went str8 into my manifold if it wasnt there..

OK.. the last wakie track day my can caught about 350-400 ml...

However there was 3 B18c's there that day and eveyrone's catch can caught oil from about 1/2 to 3/4 of a can..

This has got me kinda scared..

                    So about 5 mins ago

Thumbs up to Benson and FatBoy... I borrowed a compression reader from them...

I have very consistent compression and the numbers seem quiet reasonable..

why do you think you have it? what "symptoms"?
