just play around with it stock for abit until u get bored of it, then mod it slowly but make sure to keep ur stock parts as its easier to sell them in stock form. i got exhaust system on my car and yea got some power gain and better air flowing out

One of the best? In what way?

Anyways, you'll achieve/feel power gain if you change your header and exhaust. Best to change both at the same time too... Save on labour or your own time.

You will also need a JDM cat if you wanna change to an aftermarket system

im sure i read up on ozhonda.com that the audm stock headers on a dc2r are very restricted.

i believe most people change to a jdm header to get a bit more flow?

Exhaust:The exhaust on the Type-R is one of the best flowing Stock exhaust available. It is a good upgrade for a lower model Integra or Civic. However, it does have some substantial bottle necks that keep it from performing to it's potential......... I pulled this from ITRCA ..This is why i asked the question...

The Jap Spec header is a stainless steel item, the AUDM is a cast iron header. Big difference in performance. You will get a strong performance gain by upgrading to the Jap Spec header alone, more if you want to spend some $$ and get Toda / Mugen whatever..

Look at the size of the collectors and the way its deisgned on your car -- obvious that its restrictive.

the AUDM ITR header is not cast.

it is just an inferior design...
