    What car do you have?

Does this occur when its cold and warm or one or the other?

Common issue with the selector in the DC2R boxes, sometimes you need to select R then 1 to get it in. Mind you, since my rebuild it hasn't been as much of an issue..

I think its something to do with the actual selector motion.

Did you rebuild yours with the carbon synchros from synchro tech?

I have a integra type R 2001 DC2... Changing Gear box oil and clutch oil today.. Hoping for the best.. Using only honda oils 2.. No differ between cold or warm. Is it bad to go from five gear to neutral back into 1st at a set of light's after being stationery????

            hi Karl, welcome!

your syntax is a little hard to follow, but if i read you correctly, it is not 'bad' to change gears when stationary as long as the clutch is in.

DC2R -- Yes I did. Gearbox is 'quick' now. No signs of any crunch no matter RPM or speed of shift. I think the carbon helps 'brake' the shaft by around 30% more.

I think they are also included in K series boxes from OEM now.
