    DC5R and RSX Parts

    Are all parts on the RSX-S and DC5R between 02-04 the same or are there slight difference's??

    Im after an O2 Sensor and im currently spending to a Acura Dealer.. don't ask how lol.... But yeah... is it the same parts as our DC5R provided i get one from the RSX-S

    Make sure the years aare the same 02-04 and 05-06 ok!

      So aslong as there the same years the O2 Sensor should be fine correct?

        Im running an 03 DC5R rear O2 on my type S

          Year won't matter for the secondary O2 but the primary O2 sensors are not interchangeable between pre and post facelift.

            I belive that thay are also different from pre (before) cat and post (after) cat. Some else please comfirm that?

            Is this the heater code (mil) you have been getting in earlier thread?

            pre cat code for heater, p1166 & p1167

            post cat code for heater,p0137, p0138, p0139, p0141.

                You could get your parents to buy a starter motor if you are having problems with yours

                  Ive had the starter checked.
                  My auto elec goes, that grind seems to be a common fault with all DC5's...
                  Best thing do is, rebuild it with TODA HD Ring Gear and it'll be fine for good.
                  Starter motor though are cheap there from memory
