DC5 speaker sizes - HELP!

hey guys, quickly need to know what size the speakers and tweeters sizes for the DC5 are for? i knwo the front n rear are 6" just wanting onfirmation if the tweeters are 2"?

I have a DC5R and I am using alpine type r 6.5 inches in front (splits) and rear. If you can find out the measurements from the alpine ones, then you should be alright. Also to fit my 6.5 inch speakers I had to trim off a bit of the supports for the screws to make them fit. ;D

There are no tweeters in the dashboard from factory. It's just a cover there.

im sure hte type s have tweeters up fornt. i am jsut so lost from memory.

So, the speakers fitment are 6.5 yes?

Those ain't just covers. Those are placements for the tweeters. You can place tweeters there. I think type s have them, unsure. And yeah. 6.5" will fit but the screw supports on the speakers will need to be trimmed a bit. You can measure it up if you need to. But that's what are in my DC5R. Do a bit of research on my alpine type r component speakers and find out the size of splits.

I ain't very sure on that aye. But look on the alpine website or call up alpine dealers to find out size of splits on the type r 6.5" component splits speakers ;D remember 6.5" will just fit if you trim the support things. Lol.

1"? Are you sure? I've never heard of tweeter speakers that small for car application.

50mm or 60mm from memory. It's been a long time since I even looked at stereo components.

This is what I found on Club RSX:
