Issue With ABS on my DC2R

Hey ppls,

quick question....
ABS unit doesnt seem to be working and ABS yellow light is displaying on the dash.

Havent driven the car in about 4 months... Battery went completely flat in now charged and been driven around the block lightly just to give it a lil run.

Anyone know what the issue(s) is / are which are causing this malfunction on the abs unit? does the car just need a decent service possibly? and a visit to the auto electrician?

Check the fuses before taking it to an auto elec. Could be something as simple as that.

already checked.. all fuses are 'A' okay....
hmmmm any other ideas?

Reset the ecu.

Disconnect the battery for a good 15 mins or so

Yep, just reset the ECU. Even if the light is on afterwards take the car for a short drive (5-10 minutes).

ok ill try this disconnection of the ecu coz i aslo hav a mild tuned hondata S300 which i have installed/unistalled for a short moment... ill give it a go and will post results tomorrow moring if not tonight...

highly doubt i need a new abs unit>> just something minor im guessing haha ill keep u updated i just disconnected battery now so we'll see
