    kg/mm springs on dc5r

    hi guys,

I installed kg/mm springs to my dc5r and it prob has dropped like 20mm.

i will wait for a week or 2 to see how it all settles in.

I know the dc5' natually sit high, but i just want to know if any of you guys out there using this spring or Spoon or any replacment springs on stock shocks see the car sit lower then 20mm or will it settle a tad lower?

the car sits like 2 inche gap from the tyre to the guard and would like it a little lower then were its sitting at the momment.

if you guys have pics of replacement springs on your car please post them

    thanks

that sounds about right, springs dont lower the car that much.

Spoons have one of the best drops from what i remmeber. kgmm is one of the highest

had these on before....drops around close to 30mm

let it settle...and it will drop after a few weeks

          should be ok
having it too low might comprimise your shocks more then your current height with stock shocks

            spoon springs

with my spoon springs and koni shocks, i had about 1.5 finger gap front and 1 finger rear

            maybe because i'm fat.

the koni shocks does also compomise the height too? due to the purches?

not too sure on how much it would affect the height, but I had it on the upper perch. if the car was 5mm lower i would've been in a lot of trouble...

As others have said, the kg/mm should drop around 25 to 30mm. It does need to settle though, which can take a couple of weeks.

On the dc2r I think the Kg/mm are actually lower than the spoon.
