    Recaro tilting to the left.

The back rest (top part of the seat) of my drivers side Recaro is tilting backwards to the left when the car corners.

It is being pushed backwards from the mount/bracket that joins the top/bottom halves of the seat together.

I haven't had time to look at it yet, but it seems that the bolts of the left hand seat bracket need tightening.

Has anybody removed the plastic cover over these brackets before?

Hehe...this is pretty standard affair for ITR Recaros...the back support shifting that is...I think some people tighten it and it comes loose again...or put washers in there...can't remember exactly...tried to find previous threads for you but came up with nothing...

Hope you're enjoying the new beast

Hmm, I will have to put some Loctite on the bolts then.

The car is great, we now have a "clan" of three DC2 ITR's in Tamworth.

i think i've posted this before but here it is again

the problem is from to part number 9 getting worn flat by the latch that hooks over it. you can try undoing the screw holding it and rotating it around.
capital seating have a rebuild kit, i know of people that have used it and it fixes it but only until it wears flat again.
