Does the DC5 bonnet fit in the boot?

I tried once but maybe I was being retarted, but does the DC5 bonnet fit in the boot of the car with the seats down? I have had conflicting answers but was just wondering if anyone knows for sure. (Minus actually taking mine off and trying it out)
