DC5R Power Steering Pump

[VT-11-RR]

HI guys,

I got a problem with my power steering it makes a wired nose like its growing or something

- i am using Penrite oil for Honda
- i have flushed and re topped with oil and still same
- now the only thing i can think of is the pump its self

Just want to know does the pump have to be a type R? or can i use a type S or even base?

Just needs some clarification

also does anyone know how much a power steering pump cost? used

shoulda used Honda OEM oil.

the RSX base and RSX type s have different part numbers:

so perhaps same for Australia.

a used one should be around 200-400 as a guess...

but make sure you get it diagnosed properly...

and ALWAYS use Honda fluid.

yeh im thinking it might be diff as well. all i gota do now is find 1 for a type R lol
