dc5r tyre size on stock rim?

    hi ppl.

i am currently looking to buy a new set of tyres for my dc5r. I know that the stock tyre size is 205/55/16 and just want to know if u can go bigger in tyre size like 215 or 225 and what would be the tyre size profile, if so what sizes are ppl using on there cars. Car only has Spoon lowered springs so its not too low.

    thanks heaps.

anyone using this size 225/50/16 notice anything different to the speedo reading compared to 205/55/16 rubber?

width wouldnt matter its the profiles that will matter. 5 profile differnece isnt too much to worry about.

Punch in your original and intended tyres size in the Tyre Size Calculator (middle of the page). It'll tell you the difference of changing the tyre size

Far as I know 205/55.16 and 225/50/16 are the same diameter. Speedo should be the same.
Im also running 225/50.16 in semi-slick and its fine, side walls do stick out a little bit. But thats what you would expect with wider tyres.
