DC5S fuel gauge

Does ne1 ever had ne problems with their fuel gauge.. For some reason mine stops at least 3-5 lines b4 the red line.
One day I didn't realize I ran out of fuel and the car wasn't starting so it's fucked.

Is it bcos d fuel pump is in-tank or sum shit lyk dat..? Thnx

I had similar issue with my EK last time.

i was driving at around 100++kph and went into a dip. The fuel tank was cut open by a big stone and dented. 4/5 of fuel leaked out.

fixed the dent, welded it and refuel and drove back home. The fuel needle had similar problem like urs. I think this is something to do with the sensor at the fuel tank. My EK was all back to normal after the fuel tank was replaced.

Ok.. i filled up the tank full n the needle moved to the top. yea mayb its the sensor thats playing up cz i dun think i dented it or nefyn.. thnx guys
