electric window DC5R problem Help Please

My drivers side window made a pop noise when winding up then went down. when I try to close it no noise but when I try to open it I get a grinding noise from the motor. have removed door card and can manually pull up window seems to be in rails. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like broken window regulator! try chocking up window with wood cut to a tight fit to jam window in closed position and zip tie wood to regulator untill regulator is replaced.
