    Headers / Cat Co. / Cat Back questions?

    Hey
    I have recently bought some Tri Y headers which have a 2.5" flange.
    I have also ordered a Skunk2 Racing Megapower R catback exhaust system which is very close to 2.75".
    I now need a cat converter to complete the full exhaust system, but i do not know much about cat co's at all... And with the headers being 2.5" at the flange and the catback being 2.75" at its flange do i need sum sort of special cat? or can i just change the flanges?

    get your exhaust shop to cut and weld the correct flanges you need so it all bolts up.

    BTW are you from the inner west?

      you need a 2.5in or 3in cat plus flanges...

      buy the cat, then goto the exhaust shop - they will have the right variety of flanges...

        and tink.. which cat u recomend a 3inch or 2.5inch? im thinkin 3 inch maaay be too big and too loud might lose some power?

          what engine do you have?

            sorry wasnt thinking at all lol... which u recomend tho? any really?
            fully built b18c7 (basically a b20) with all the bits n pieces inside lol..
            got a hondata coming so untill then it remains with standard itr cams.
            Yee tell me about it very loud but FUN lol comes with a silencer tho

                naa its black.. if its the same red one im thinkin about he lives arund these streets sumwhere too
                its just ported honed polished ect with all forged internals.. making alot more torque than it used to when it was a baby b18c7 lol but yeee its still got more to come.. hoping to drop my toda cams iv been hiding away in soon
