    Camber Kits

A questions for especially dc2r owners... for those who lowered their cars, what camber kit do you guys use ?

as i understand, the rear will have excessive camber when you lower it, so you will need a camber kit to adjust them?

any info would be greatly appreaciated

Hey eric, just use washers if its only a small amount or ask andy to make a duplicate of my aluminium arms, u can adjust to 5 points and can move from -5 to +2

i was looking at getting vision adjustable camber kits (front and rear) because i run a fair bit of neg camber on the street, about 3deg front and almost 2deg on the rear. however i really like the car's handling setup so at the moment i'm willing to live with the extra tyre wear..

As szymonsta is alluding to, camber increases tyre wear but makes a noticeable improvement to the handling of the car. I've also always been prepared to accept the increased tyre wear for that reason.

I am running -2 degrees all around, and do not have noticeable tyre wear issue. The tyre wear is very even throughout the entire surface.

Thanks for all the replies guys!

Atm i'm running -2 & -2.8 on the rear so I guess I'll just get something to fix the rear The front is not that bad -1.6 & -1.75 and i think i can live with that haha

mm..why so much on the rear? is your rear really low compared to the front?

after my last alignment yesterday, im considering getting a camber kit anyway, just to be able to get the settings more accurate.

To my understanding even though having some toe can reduce tyre wear but to get produce good handling it is best to have 0 toe.

more toe out = better cornering/worse stability
                        0mm toe = neutral
more toe in = better stability/worse cornering

Well I thnk the rear got so much coz during the alignment, we found out that without a camber kit/washers it will be very difficult/time consuming to have it aligned properly.

As for height it's all the same rear and front.

                            strange..

anyway, i run toe out at the front to help turn-in, and toe-in at the rear to aid stability..
