tein ss (jap) vs tein ss (fulcrum)

does anyone know the differences between the two?

from what ive read, it seems that main thing has to do with the variable road differences and comfort etc (so spring rates, damper rate etc)

does anyone have the specs pls?

it might have been revalved and uses a slightly diffenret spring rate. if they say its more comfortable then obiviously valved less aggressive, but it isnt an aggressive coilover anyways :s

    Better wait for GCdc5r

should i be fussed between the two? or just get the one which is cheaper. im not looking for hectic suspension. i just want good suspension (and also heaight adjustment) compared to sh*tty ole king springs.

on my dc2, i had koni yellows, and eibach sportline, and it was dumped and relatively hard. it was good for the glorified go kart my integra was, but for my s15, i would prefer something just comfortable and enjoyable.

its cheap, its also perch adjustable, i think u should be fine with those definitly.

Comfort wise again these are marketed to be the least aggressive of the tein range and if thats to believe then if u r not happy with the comfort of these u most likely wont be pleased with the comfort of any others.

hipermaxIIhowever still takes my vote of most comfy coilovers ive ever been in.

I think you'll find the fulcrum adjusted ones will be what you want if you are after heigh adjustment and comfort.

Sydney roads are nowhere near as good as in Japan.

If he wanted my opinion he would have asked me.

Mind you he just asked about the difference between then two and seemed to answer his own question in the next sentence.

                              i got fulcrum pretty nice...
value for money ok, stiff and height adjustable.
lowest height setting is awesome perfect for the dc5
ideal for street and room play around with the setting overall not a bad choice

p.s. you have to lower to the max (lowest setting =D)
                              i did exhaust gets demolished
