    Xforce headers on DC5S

hi, i have a honda integra type s, i've read that the xforce 4-2-1 headers give decent performance at a reasonable price...of course the dream would be to get toda, but there too pricey.

would anyone know if xforce headers would be effective on the dc5s?
the reason i ask is because i havent seen anyone put them on a K20 engine, i've heard that they maybe worse than stock headers.

ideas and comments would be much appreciated

    thanx

My mate had one in and what I can tell you it is the worst mod I've every seen in my life......the car lost lots of low end toqure and there is no high end gain at all. I strongly suggest you save up and get sth like toda.....you won't regrad the extra few hundred that you spend.......just my 2 cent....

      dont do it!

they are pretty hopeless. You are better off saving for the toda or equivalent.
Look around the US. There are some decent headers coming out of there and with the current exchange rate may be cheaper than anything jap.

"you won't regrad the extra few hundred that you spend."

the xforce headers are $650 (with the cat)....and the toda headers are at least $1800 (without the cat)

does anyone have any dyno figures for the xforce headers?

what about the buddy club headers? they're about double the price of the xforce ones, are they significantly better than xforce? and similar to toda?

just wait till toda headers pop up second hand and jump on them.

you would be better off getting the JDM header rather than X Force.

Well I've just put a X force header on my DC5 Type S. I must admit, some of the comments are true.

Straight away I noticed a loss in the low-mid range torque. However, engine feels more happy revving, exhaust sounds more aggressive. I've just put it on so can't comment too much but the above comments are my 1st feel/impression of this header.

Another thing, I just realised the OEM header is a 4-1 header, didn't know that.

                              OEM header is 4~2~1

It may look 4~1 but it's not.
