    dc2 head unit mounting kit

can someone please recommend something which will hold the headunit in securely? mine is falling out.. (and this was done at a professional shop, so much for that crap! found that they used silicon to hold the setup together )

will something like this work better than the "original" mounting kit?

    TIA

i'm using a smiliar kit to hold the head unit, does the job well and everthing sits flush. though my mounting kit has a built in din pocket on the bottom

It is rather simple if you follow intructions, you need to remove quite a few tabs and bits of plastic, which is time consuming

ordered through marty @ FHRX studios

Mine...was held in by a really dodgy way...that's why the DIN pocket was on the top...parts that were involved was...

                  - old shoe lace
                  - foam
                  - wood

works...held up with my high rpm launches
