    Effective Compression Ratio

    Hi,

I've searched around but can't find what I'm looking for.. Thought someone here might know!

What is the highest safe ECR that a B18C (Don't think it matters which variation m-u-c-h) ?

If I run 11psi through an engine with already 11:1 ratio, my calcs say the ERC will be around 19:1.

I think this should be fine, given that will lower static compression people are punching enough boost through at 9:1 and say 1.4bar (20psi approx) to produce ECR of around 21:1 ...

Anyone point me in the right direction?

Lets just assume less than 50m - 300m... Makes bugger all difference at these ranges.. I calculated about .3 - .4 increase at around 1000ft..

australia is a reasonably flat country lol for arguments sake lets assume the ECR is corrected to sea level..
