hey i cant find any post any where bout cruise control has any one fitted it to there DC2R ,, dose the DC5R have cruise control ?

i knew it doesn't have it because it a type R but it would be nice on them long trips hahah lol

Nope. DC5 has optional cruise control.

Cruise control is a fairly rudementary thing on cable drive throttle. It's just a motor that opens throttle and balances at certain speed... that's the dumbed down version.

i have seen a dc2r fitted with factory cruise control, so it must have been available as an option.

I thought it was just aluminum pedals and floor mats etc. Pretty sure cruise control was a dealer fit option and there was no factory sunroof option for the DC2R. There may have been some fitted by Webasto etc.

dose that mean by any chance you could go to a dealer and ask them bout fitting cruise control ? it is a 8 year old car hmm

Probably best & cheapest to get an aftermarket electronic cruise control. The electronic ones are generally more accurate and easier to set up than the vacuum type (less surging etc).
