low beam problem

    low beam problem

    hi guys

    my low beams just randomly stopped working. hi and the first click one still work fine, same as indicators and hazard lights.

    if 1 bulb is blown does the other one stop working as well? or would it be something else wrong.

    It wouldn't be very well designed if 1 bulb dieing automatically disabled the other now would it So it is definitely not that! They both run off different fuses! (15 & 17)

      May be just globes, both are used at the same time and tend to end there life around the same time frame (not exactly the same time). It may also be the headlamp switch.

        ok, ill check to see whether its the bulbs. any way to check if its the headlamp switch?

          Head lamp switchs negitive/earth to headlamp 1&2 relay for left & right. Positive 12volts comes out of relays to each fuse for headlamps and on the globes. Pm me if you stuck.

            cheers for the help its fixed. one of the bulbs was blown. dno why the other one didnt work tho.
