    help needed - spoon

hi, just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this:

i have spoon sw388 15x7 and recently bought spoon twinblock calipers

not sure what size spacer is needed..

i currently have some 8mm spacers in the garage but i hear these would require longer studs to use ...

    and ideas ??

    What offset mate?

Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."

          Defiately won't clear.

You will need at least a 10-15mm spacer.

I run 3mm spacers with my Spoon calipers on stock studs with stock DC2R 15" wheels. To be safe get extended studs if using slip on spacers. You'll need like 5mm spacers I reakon.

I'll be using 5mm spacers soon, so have now upgraded (or will be next week) to ARP extended studs.

weak...we use 16mm spacers on extended studs LOL...

OT- We ran 15x7 +36 and +35mm wheels and they clear it easy. It also depends on the type of rim. I would say it MIGHT fit with 3mm spacer.

                  Far out, so brave!

I've always upheld the motto of never going on track with spacers on my car.

                        this thread helps out alot!!

if you dont want to buy spacers, sell the spoons and get one of the wheels listed in the above mentioned thread

it states the 16x7 sw388 fit .. so why does it still need 10-15mm clearance

We never had a problem with them. Why not track with spacers? Just curious.

Mainly open end nuts. Muteki (sp?) is what we used. Long-open ended.
