    Tein HA - Any good?

Looking at buying a set of these.

There's not much info of them online. So has anyone owned them? or driven on them? are they good?

The spring rates appear to be 8/6kg/mm. Sound comfy, but do they handle?

    Cheers
    David

Don't know much bout the HA, but god damn the Monoflex's are BEAUTIFUL! So comfy when you want them to be, and hard when you want them to be. Sounds like what you are after?

            Mono's are 3k these days . I found a set of new HA's for 1k..

That's the only reason I'm asking, if they were the same price. I would no doubt go Mono's!

You can always put stiffer springs on the HA's.

Oh I don't mind the spring rates. Apparently the HA's are quite stiff anyway, probably damping?

                But 1k.. hmm.

1k for new HA's kinda prove how outdated they are...

but better than anything else in that price range!

but seems you realise they are entry level spec... so snap up a bargain!

If you have ground control/Koni then I wouldn't be changing to Tein HA. I would be willing to bet money that the Koni damper is better than the Tein one.

I had a set of HA's on my DC2. They were fine for street with occasional track use. If you're looking to do a fair bit of track work I'd get something more up to date. If you mostly drive on the steet then 1k for some new HA's is pretty good.
