go down to the dealership and ask them for a replacement bolt. Grab a few there.

Have no clue what the part number is.

Take off the valve cover, that bolt screws right out of the block, screw in the new bolt.

hmmm, might need a torque wrench too?

as that "bolt/stud" holds the Camshaft in place...

if you were in sydney i'd help you do it for sure!

all you need is a 'guy' with soem tools and experience with honda's

do you know the melbourne racer crew? chargeR and mugsee etc? wlee2 might be able to help?

it is a simple DIY, so no need at all to get a mechanic to charge you 100 bucks to replace a bolt...

but since you snapped it by over-tightening it in the first place, i reckon you may need someone elses guidance to replace it

plus you also need to reseal certain areas of the cylinder head cover gasket with RTV sealant (or ideally Hondabond)...

I don't think that bolt holds the cam shaft in place.

I take it that this long bolt thing also serves to hold the valve cover on and the plug cover as well? Why not leave it broken, it doesn't seem worth the effort of messing with it.
