    USDM Headlights and cutoff

    Hey guys,

Im after some headlights for my car...and looking at the US as its a fair bit cheaper.

I'm guessing because of the LHD/RHD differences their headlight cut-off is different too...whilst ours is \___ theirs is ____/

is this is a simple headlight modification or is it a bit more involved?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers guys

You want to modify the cut off on a set of USDM headlights?

if they're projectors you may be able to flip/modify the shield.
        i.e.

if they're reflectors you can forget about it

No you can't modify the cut-off, they are molded into the projector.

Not an easy job, find urself some audm headlights and wet sand polish etc to get them looking new.

Reflectors are only for high beams, and I don't think the high beams have a cut off.

Assuming this is all for a dc2

have you tired looking into getting a set of aftermarket prejector headlights?
might be cheaper depending on your budget

For a reflector headlight it's going to be pretty involved.

                  I wouldn't bother attempting it.

Whats wrong with your current lights.

is this for a dc5r or dc5-s? I have a friend in the states with his stock rsx headlights I could probably get him to ship it over here if you need them.

ive used us/ebay projectors for years now, and really the cut offs dont matter unless youre super particular about that kind of stuff, adjust the beam down slightly.
