DC2R steering wheel lifted

my dc2r steering wheel has lifted on the top rear, i think due to heat.
does anyone know how to DIY fix it?

i have tried to search but couldnt find any info.

Yes...very simple solution, you need a Nardi (or Sparco..Insert brand name here).
At the same time, you can throw in one of those snazzy quick release bosses.

It also acts as a theft deterrant. Imagine parking in the city, going to a club, you simply release the steering wheel and keep it safely with you.

oh, if you wear the steering wheel around your neck, it could also be also be a very cool accessory.

You could post some pics of your problem, and we can go from there.

You can go to a wrecker and just buy that top part (if possible)
OR
you can bring it to one of those place that trims leather so they can make a template out of it off fibreglass
OR
get a 2nd hand steering wheel (blown one for cheap) and just use the top part

lol thats the thread where i got the pic from. but after reading it, doesnt tell you how to fix it DIY. i believe removing the airbag part will get to the spot.

Take out the steering wheel, heat it and pry it back in place?
But there's no guarantee that it won't happen again.

Also if you have a airbag, becareful when you heat it or anything

Haha! Thats my old steering wheel!

I couldnt fix it. Removed airbag. Wedged it back down overnight but still popped back up.

Its part of the whole steering wheel assembly. Could not re-glue it.

Well a temporary fix (lasted a couple of days), was removing airbag and wedging an item between top of wheel and affected area. This forced it down and kept it there over night. The next day it was fine but mine came back...
