            i knew a guy who had similar issues with his dc2r. he took it back to honda several times and they took ages to fix it, they had no idea what was wrong with it and why the aggressive cam wouldnt engage. it dragged on for months as i recall..
            wish i could tell you more but the guy was a bit of an a-hole so i didnt really ever talk to him..but just to let u know it has happened before.

              guess when you think about it,

              there are EGs that done 200 000 + kms and vtec still engages fine...

                  my DC2R has done 145k and there has never been anything wrong with the car.. just 1 light globe has been replaced and the window wipers...

                  vtec works just fine

                      theres a difference between 'thrashing' and 'driving hard'...

                      i hate the word thrashing in the wrong context.

                      on topic: our 14 year old accord, which has 210,000 kms still runs fine and VTEC is still running perfectly
