    Did u know? [Random Facts inside]

    Yup a did you know thread, the idea is to put some wacky info about anything car related here that is technical

    I will start, im sure many can learn from the tid bits we all know or just found out.

    Did you know all race car chassis are painted in that gray tone becuase that color is the easiest color to notice chassis cracks in? Just found out today

            did you know that DC5 rims are made by enkei (01-04 as well as 05) and DC5 seat belts are made by takata? rims are labelled on the inside and seat belts are labelled on the tags.
            almost JDM spec, y0!

                      Did you know that if there is red paint on the engine code of a B18CR engine then its a replacement factory block ?

                      This may apply to all Honda's but I know for a fact its true for B18CR's

                        On a sticker on an NSX's Climate Control unit (buried deep behind the dash) is a sticker in Japanese and English which says :- "An Eternal Sportsmind For You"

                            I couldnt belive the option list for an 1984 Honda Accord:-

                            Heated front seats
                            Alarm/Immobiliser
                            electric mirrors,Sunroof,windows
                            motorised radio antenna
                            and....front light wipers!!!
                            This is in 1984!!
