you've got wires coming out of every "hole" of the ballast?

First off you should be using a separate wire harness otherwise you will eventually melt ur stock wiring.

Secondly the cheap chinese kits often fail.

Check your "power feed" wires going to the ballast, the design of most el cheapo kits allow the plug allows it to be plugged in backwards =/ and result in it not working.

Its very rare for HID to fail on both of them so I guess there is nothing wrong with the HID maybe you should check again the contact between OEM plug with the ballast terminal . . .

big chance you have a loose ground or havent hooked up the grounds for the HID kit/ballast/wiring.

Is your kit powered directly from the battery (runs 2 wires to 2 fuses , then to the POSITIVE terminal of the battery) or is it run directly from the power/signal/ground of the stock headlight ?
Its single beam so the setup should be less complicated - are you sure you hooked up the HID to the correct bulb - not the HIGH beam wires?
